From an early age, Cochran developed a passion for Survivor, having followed the show since its debut season. His interest in the show extended beyond just watching, as he once wrote a law school paper comparing Survivor’s jury system to that of the U.S. legal system.
In high school, Cochran was a dedicated fan, distributing Survivor newsletters, sporting a Survivor-style buff on his arm during episodes, and even selecting “The tribe has spoken” as his senior year quote.
